Gorilla - Gorilla sealant may be used on pvc pipes, but not in high-pressure applications. Gorilla 100% silicone sealant / caulk is great for the kitchen, doors, marine plumbing, auto, bath, window, gutters and more. Ready for water exposure in just 30 minutes. Gorilla sealant may not work well on certain difficult to bond plastics, such as polyethylene PE and polypropylene PP, or certain types of rubber with high oil or plasticizer content.
For heavy-duty applications, we recommend removing the nozzle after each use and replacing the cap to store tube nozzle can hang from the side of tube. Gorilla sealant can be used as an adhesive for light-duty applications. For cured/dried sealant use mechanical means such as scraping or sanding.
For the nozzle, we would recommend Gorilla Construction Adhesive. The clear or white silicone sealant won't yellow, shrink or crack over time! Not for use in underwater applications, cementitious materials or on metals sensitive to corrosion including brass & galvanized metals. Not paintable. To clean surface while sealant is still wet/uncured, wipe off wet sealant immediately with a dry cloth. For the tube, let sealant cure completely and then remove cured sealant manually.
